Excited
Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.
I honestly don’t know. Probably food which is incredibly sad.

Kimberley
Where did your name come from?
My name came from my grandmother who persuaded my mom to name me that to match my father’s intended name, Kingsley. My middle name is in honor of my mom’s sister.

Postive emotion
What positive emotion do you feel most often?
Love. I have so much of it. I have God’s love. I have the love my mom left behind. My dogs, both here and gone, are the most loving creatures I could have ever asked for. I have friends who love me. Not a bunch, just two or three…

Peace
What brings you peace?
I find peace in the little things because there will be times, like during the pandemic or in times of financial struggles, when taking a weeklong trip to Mexico is not feasible. Peace should be free. To enhance the peace within me, I listen to meditation music, read, and take walks, sometimes alone, with my dog, or with a friend.
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 New International Version

Business
If you were going to open up a shop, what would you sell?
I would sell what people need? What do you want me to sell? What do I need to sell to get your business?
-
Carry
What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?
An ID. I can’t stress this enough.
-
Changes
What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?
My blog would give everything to the help, education, and understanding of mental health issues.

Alterniverse
Describe your life in an alternate universe.
In my alternate universe, I would relive my life from beginning to current in a simulation. In this simulation, I would be able to correct the mistakes I’ve made and see the outcomes of different choices.
In this simulation, I will have the same beginnings, but I will have the opportunity to change everything else. I would use the knowledge from my current life, as well as what relatives have told me about my life before I became aware, to make different decisions. In this universe, I would experience what it would have been like without my ignorance and stupidity. I would choose not to date as I believe romantic relationships are one of my greatest stumbling blocks. I know that I am infertile. Given my acceptance and peace, I would’ve used my energy more wisely. Instead, I would use the knowledge of my mom and actively attempt to save her. I would focus on studying more and wouldn’t worry about my appearance, knowing now that it was mainly due to hormones. I would take church less seriously and prioritize prayer and reading. Learning and spiritual growth would be a priority in my alternate universe. I would learn horticulture and invest in real estate. Setting a standard of helping others in need would also be a priority. Additionally, I would have booked a flight on my 18th birthday in May 2001 just to experience traveling without TSA one more time. Traveling would become a normal part of my life, and I would pursue my dual citizenship earlier.

Habit
Describe one habit that brings you joy.
If I were to be completely honest, communication was my biggest fear, but now it’s my greatest joy. Overcoming my fear of communication took going to college and being told I was terrible at it.

Act of kindness
Write about a random act of kindness you’ve done for someone
I feel like acts of kindness are like worship to God and shouldn’t be discussed. Acts of kindness should be performed without seeking attention or recognition. I will say that it’s increasingly difficult to perform acts of charity with the amount of deception in our society. Businesses and organizations have truly tainted acts of kindness and use them as advertising. The practice of kindness is a promotional tool. Individuals record themselves doing charity for popularity, likes, donations, and subscriptions. We have left kind acts up to our government and non-profit agencies to perform. I believe acts of kindness are to be done with discernment. Let the recipient of your kindness share the news.
