I’ve noticed some people don’t know what sanctified means. It means set apart. There are elements or items in our lives that are set apart. For exaample, Your kitchen counters are sanctified; they were set apart from the quartz, granite, marble, or whatever material they were made from, cut from the ground, and set in a room designated for cooking. They are treated, no longer a part of the ground, so feet and the pitter-patter of paws no longer belong there. So too are we, sanctified, set apart from the things that we once belonged to, like the counters; we are no longer a part of where we came from, but unlike the counters, we have the right to say, you can’t walk all over me. You can’t use me like you once did; I’m sanctified.
